Final week Q#9

This experience has really expanded my knowledge about working in the graphic design field. It's fast pace, hard work, and hours of sitting in front of a computer. It's also sort of like being a detective of sorts. When clients come in you really need to extract information from them so that you can create something that they truly like. It is possible that I would take to this field, I did have a lot of fun while I was there. However, there are other fields that I would like to experience first before I make up my mind. It's better to try out all your options first that way you absolutely know what you want to do.

Week 3 Part 2

I love this little area because its so fun. In my mind a meting room is a blank room with one big table and a lot of chairs. This is totally better. Its bright, small and crazy.

Week 3 of Internship part one

After a while of being an Intern, at some point you might get to thinking about your work. Why am I here? Is the project I am working on benefiting anyone. Well I'm not sure if other people's projects are benefiting anyone but I know mine is. My project is going to promote Visual Asylum to past clients as well as the public. This will hopefully get the word out about Visual Asylum to people who may not know what they do. This could also potentially increase the number of clients Visual Asylum receives.

2nd week response to Q# 2,4

So far Internship has been amazing. There have been some set backs though. See a computer crashed so we have been limited to two. Obviously my Project isn't priority over on coming deadlines, so computer time has become scarce. Now don't confuse this with me not completing my Project for I will.
Now being in the working word for a short time I have acquired some key insights about graphic design as a business. It's fast pace, a lot of meetings, and precise knowledge of what your client wants. This experience has defiantly had an impact on my future. Perhaps I may want to be a graphic designer.

1st week response to Q#1, 3

So first week at Visual Asylum has been fun. I have found that I am to work with Adobe Illustrator for my project. I can't wait for I haven't used this program before. Anyway I am to create a promotion booklet for Visual Asylum as my Internship project. I am to convey my experiences feelings and thoughts though both imagery as well as words. I have a pretty good idea of how I want the book to look. Lets just hope my mentor likes what I come up with.
